I setup this system to:
- have a fileserver
- learn about openboot, SPARC architecture, netinstall
- learn about linux (debian) on non-intel
- learn about dual cpu systems

Technical Specifications:
- Sun Blade 1000
- Two Ultrasparc III running at 750 Mhz
- 1024MB RAM
- Two 36GB FC-AL harddisks
- Four WD3200 320GB SATA harddisks (RAID 5)

About the setup:
- Used a debian boot.img that i found thanks to Google.
- Prepared the sata raid 5 using an old Intel computer
- It looks like Adaptec is not supporting this controller on Sparc, so there is no way for me to run aaccli or any other tool to manage the sata disks. If you know a way, please let me know (pol@cobbaut.be)
